It looks like a beautiful spring day in Nashville in this picture, but let me tell you, it was unbelievably hot and humid!  Here I am being interviewed by Storm Warren from GAC on one of the early days of the CMA Music Festival.   We were standing right across the river from the big stadium where the nightly concerts take place during Fan Fair.  

This was my first time to attend Fan Fair (CMA Music Festival) as a working artist.  I didn’t have my own fan booth THIS time, so the great people at the Carl Black Chevy booth gave me a chance to meet & greet fans at their booth.   This was so much fun!  

I met the great Bill Anderson last month at the CMA Music Festival (June, 08).  What an amazing career he has had!  And no, we really didn’t call ahead to discuss what color shirt we were going to wear that day!
